Today, on the date of January 6, 2026, our orientation journey at PCPS College began with an experience that went far beyond a formal introduction to college life. What was planned as an orientation program turned into a truly memorable experience that beautifully combined learning, teamwork, fun, and inspiration.
Our journey began early in the morning as we headed towards Nagarkot, reaching our destination around 11:00 AM. The fresh mountain air instantly created a refreshing and welcoming atmosphere. We stayed at Mountain Vista Retreat, a place surrounded by calm nature and stunning views, making it a perfect setting to begin our academic journey.
After arriving, we had lunch together and checked into our rooms. Soon after, we gathered for the orientation session, where we had the opportunity to listen to our College CEO and members of the Board of Directors. They shared their personal experiences, journeys, and valuable insights, which were both motivating and reassuring. Hearing directly from the leadership helped us better understand PCPS College’s vision and the opportunities ahead of us.
The rest of the day was filled with energy and excitement. We participated in Mini Roadies, where students were divided into teams and engaged in a series of fun and interactive challenges. These activities encouraged teamwork, leadership, and confidence, while also helping us bond with our classmates in a natural and enjoyable way.
As the evening approached, the excitement continued with a Talent Showcase Competition, which was part of the Mini Roadies event. Watching our classmates perform and showcase their talents was inspiring and highlighted the creativity and diversity within our batch.
The highlight of the night was the campfire and barbeque session. With music, laughter, dancing, and conversations under the open sky, we truly felt connected—not just as students, but as a community. After dinner, we returned to our cozy rooms and spent the night sharing memories and laughter with friends.
The next morning was equally special. We woke up to a breathtaking mountain view, clicked many pictures, and captured moments we will cherish forever. After breakfast, the winners of the Mini Roadies competition were announced and awarded, adding a proud and celebratory ending to our trip.
Soon after, we headed back to college—tired, yet filled with happiness, motivation, and new friendships.
This orientation was more than just a trip. It marked the beginning of our journey at PCPS College—a perfect blend of learning, fun, inspiration, and connection. I am grateful to PCPS College for organizing such a meaningful experience and creating memories that will stay with us throughout our academic journey.
